SEDA SBM Smart Battery Monitoring
SEDA SBM Smart Battery Monitoring (SBM) system is especially designed to ensure the safety of lithium-ion batteries and high-voltage storage systems in electric vehicles during their storage, transport, and operation. Thanks to advanced sensor technology and alarm management, it provides comprehensive monitoring capabilities that goes beyond simple measurements.
The sensor detects temperature, humidity, pressure, and gases such as carbon monoxide, hydrogen, and smoke (VOC) in the parts-per-million (PPM) range. When predefined thresholds are exceeded, an extensive alarm management system is activated. In addition to acoustic and visual alarms, specific events trigger phone calls, SMS, and email notifications. The SBM is available in stationary (WiFi) and mobile (LTE network) versions, enabling optimal monitoring of sensitive areas such as transportation and storage.

Additional Information
SEDA SBM Buddy is a compact monitoring device that continuously measures critical parameters such as temperature and gases (e.g., carbon monoxide and hydrogen). It features wireless data transmission, a long battery life of up to one year, and the ability to trigger visual and acoustic alarms. It is especially practical in areas without cellular reception, such as basements or metal containers, where a second device can be used as a repeater.
SEDA SBM Mobile ADD-on further enhances the device with GPS and LTE functionality.
SEDA SBM Cloud serves as the central platform, collecting and processing all data from SBM devices and sending notifications via phone calls, SMS, or email in the event of critical incidents. Through an internet connection, the cloud enables remote control and configuration of the devices, ensuring reliable monitoring even from a distance.
