Temperature pre-setting and control – temperature in the compartments can be pre-set according to the user’s requirements and kept at the same level irrespectively of the ambient temperature outside the container.
Alarm system monitoring – the following values are measured and evaluated:
► 4 temperature sensors per compartment (temperature on the surface of a Li-ion accumulator)
► ambient temperature in compartments
► smoke gas, hydrogen (H2), carbon monoxide (CO)
Flooding & cooling – as soon as temperature on the surface of a Li-ion accumulator reaches 68°C in a compartment, the nozzles will open & perform their function of flooding a corresponding accumulator with water or any other cooling medium, thus subduing thermal reaction of accumulator cells.
