Quality control
SEDA devices and stations fulfil the most stringent safety criteria and are TÜV, EC and GS labelled. The strict ATEX specifications can also be complied with if required. Sophisticated quality management ensures that demanding quality requirements are fulfilled by means of regular checks and tests.

Our history
1967
The start is made
Josef Dagn returns from his apprenticeship at Mercedes Benz to his hometown in Kössen and opens a petrol station and car repair shop.
1983
Location in the USA
Mr. Dagn establishes SEDA Environmental LLC in New York; the headquarters move to St. Petersburg, Florida two years later.
1993
1st depollution station worldwide
Company founder Mr. Dagn develops the world’s first complete end-of-life vehicle depollution system and launches sales across Europe.
2003
New company structure & start in Benelux
SEDA-Umwelttechnik GmbH, which is still active today, is founded. SEDA receives a major order in the Netherlands and establishes SEDA Environmental Benelux.
2006
Major Export Award
SEDA wins the Austrian Export Award and is listed as a Hidden Champion.
2009
New Management, ISO & SEDA Asia
SEDA-Umwelttechnik GmbH is ISO9001 certified for the first time. Josef Dagn’s son Rainer becomes the new managing director. SEDA Japan is founded and a sales agent is hired in Shanghai.
2010
New location for SEDA USA
SEDA Environmental LLC strengthens the team and moves to a larger company building in Fayetteville, Georgia.
2011
Start SEDA Türkiye
SEDA Türkiye is founded to enter the Eurasian market.
2015
Major renovation & showroom
SEDA expands the production facility in Kössen and opens its own showroom.
2016
New subsidiary SEDA UK
SEDA-Environmental UK Ltd is founded.
2020
High-voltage DEMO Center
Opening of the demo center for electric vehicle recycling technology in Kössen, as well as implementation of the first high-voltage training course for car recyclers.
2021
BATMOBIL in Austria
1st return system for electric cars & lithium-ion batteries starts in Austria.
2024
Airbag Project
SEDA receives a large order to take back airbags.
