SEDA was a speaker at the workshop on the circular economy in Turkey. Of course, the topic of end-of-life vehicles and their contribution to the circular economy was emphasised again. E-cars were also an important topic.
The Circular Economy Workshop Turkey was organised for the first time in Ankara with the co-financing of the European Union and the Republic of Turkey. Various sectors were represented at the event by numerous companies from Austria, the Netherlands and Italy. SEDA Umwelttechnik GmbH was represented by Ramiz Ilter (Managing Director SEDA Turkey).
SEDA informed the visitors with a detailed presentation. Especially the state of the art for recycling processes of electric vehicles was the highlight of the event. SEDA presented to the Turkish Ministry, various stakeholders and representatives of the Turkish battery industry on how HV batteries can be imposed into the circular economy and what SEDA can contribute to this.
The „Circular Economy Workshop for the Private Sector” was held within the scope of the project, which also aims to prepare a Circular Economy Action Plan specific to Türkiye, to contribute to the preparation of the National Circular economy Strategy and Action Plan roadmap, to receive assessments and feedback from circular economy stakeholders from the private sector and to exchange ideas with stakeholders.
