On the 14th and 15th of october 2021 was the relationday by ARN.
The main focus on these two days were the Future of Autorecycling in 2030.
Different Lectures/Presentations where one was about the li-ion batteries held by Van Peperzeel, who owns the largest company in the Netherlands when it comes to collecting batteries and metals.
Another one was given by Nico Kraak who is the technical trainer for trainings in the High- Voltage sector. In the Netherlands it’s a one-day training which gives you the permition to dismantle a lithium-ion battery from a car.
We had interesting conversations with different car recyclers as well as other organizations who work such as ARN.
Our conclusion to this whole event was that we have to find a good solution for the recycling process in this sector even faster in order to have a smooth transition in what is yet to come.
